ELIGIBILITY

This scholarship is open to senior high school students applying for college who are legal dependents of active Anaheim police sworn personnel. Dependents of reserve or retired Anaheim police personnel are not eligible for this scholarship.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (Failure to complete any of the following will result in disqualification):

• The scholarship is intended for use in scholastic and vocational fields only.

• A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

• A copy of your most recent transcripts (official or unofficial).

• Applicants must submit a 500-word essay on the following topic: Considering the vital role law enforcement plays in upholding public safety and serving communities, how has your parent’s career in this field shaped your personal values and influenced your future aspirations?

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS

$1,000 for Vocational School | $2,500 for a four-year University

The scholarship amounts are based on the fundraising results from the previous year. Scholarships are limited, and applications will be evaluated based on the submitted criteria.
