Pasadena Police Officer Omar Elhosseiny has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disorder that causes full or partial paralysis. Officer Elhosseiny first experienced symptoms on June 28th and has been on life support in intensive care since June 30th, where he is still receiving treatment. While his doctors and family remain optimistic, it is very clear he will have a long and difficult recovery that will take anywhere from several months to years. The Pasadena Police Officers' Association has worked with Officer Omar Elhosseiny's family to create the GoFundMe page posted here. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
